Why FIRST is First!

The anacronym FIRST, used by the nonprofit organization that runs the nations premier scientific competition for high school students stands for “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology.”

The name fits and they wear it well.

FIRST’s 2013 robotic competition is is full swing and the national championship is later this spring.
