Robots Competing on an International Scale in South Korea

The 14th International Robot Olympiad is well under way in Gwangju, South Korea this week, with competitors coming in from all over the world to compete in the international games. The theme this year is “Robots, Caring for Aged People.” Some of the challenges include a robot biathlon, a smart robot line tracer (where the bot follows a gaffers tape tracking line), and robot pushing. Awards will be presented Friday, December 20.
